Blockx, who fell to Learner Tien in the Jeddah title match in December, competed in Indian Wells and Miami last month but failed to advance out of qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Blockx in the main draw is Frenchman Alexandre Muller, who needed two hours and 33 minutes to hold off former Top 30 Italian Matteo Arnaldi 1-6, 7-6(4), 6-4.<\/p>\n<p>American Emilio Nava will make his Monte-Carlo debut after ending Belgian David Goffin&#8217;s final appearance in the Principality 6-3, 6-7(6), 7-6(2).<\/p>\n<p>Three South Americans won through to the main draw: Chilean Cristian Garin and Argentines Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Francisco Comesana, who took out qualifying top seed Ethan Quinn 7-5, 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>Kazakhstan&#8217;s Alexander Shevchenko defeated veteran Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 7-6(3), 7-6(4) to also reach the main draw.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2fPgu3lS5W8?si=gtka1WFuXLbwonDY\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
