Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev thrilled young tennis fans Saturday as they mingled with delighted kids during a mini tennis exhibition to promote Sunday’s main-draw start of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.
The tournament’s No. 2 and No. 3 seeds traded shots on a mini tennis court at the Maritime Station breakwater before inviting the enthusiastic kids to join them for a hit. The players also passed along tips and signed autographs.
Sinner comes into the event with the chance to reclaim World No. 1 from Carlos Alcaraz after winning back-to-back ATP Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells and Miami.
Zverev is an impressive 15-5 on the season after a strong run in Indian Wells and Miami, where he twice fell to Sinner in the semi-finals.
