Frenchmen Arthur Rindkernech and Corentin Moutet both advanced. Rinderknech defeated Monegasque Hugo Nys 6-3, 6-1, while Moutet downed #NextGenATP American Alex Michelsen 6-1, 6-3.
Luca Nardi overcame Frenchman Lucas Pouille 6-4, 6-3, while Alexandre Muller defeated 2019 finalist Dusan Lajovic 6-2, 6-3. Argentine Federico Coria moved past Alexander Shevchenko 6-2, 6-4, with Indian Sumit Nagal downing Italian Flavio Cobolli 6-2, 6-3.
Top seed Yannick Hanfmann defeated French lefty Hugo Gaston 4-6, 6-0, 6-4, while Facundo Diaz Acosta beat Diego Schwartzman 6-3, 6-4.
