Former champions Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev return to the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters this week when they will both be chasing more success in the Principality.
However, before taking to court at the clay-court event, the pair shared jokes and competed in a mini-match in front of fans at The Place d’Armes in the heart of La Condamine on Saturday.
Tsitsipas and Rublev hit trick shots, posed for photos and chatted with each other as they delighted the supporters in Monte-Carlo ahead of the third ATP Masters 1000 of the season.
The Greek Tsitsipas, seeded 12th, is a two-time champion in Monte-Carlo, having triumphed in 2021 and 2022. The sixth seed Rublev won his maiden ATP Masters 1000 crown at the event last season. Rublev begins against Alexei Popyrin or a qualifier, while Tsitsipas starts against Laslo Djere.
